Petromyscus: Rock Mice - English
URL: http://www.press.jhu.edu/books/walker/rodentia.muridae.petromyscus.html

Rock mice inhabit dry, barren mountains; they prefer areas where large quantities of loose boulders and rocky outcrops predominate. They are nocturnal, hiding by day under rocks or in crevices and stealthily creeping between the boulders at night. Reports indicate that rock mice are omnivorous in diet.
